Vinh Phan Undergraduate Project Assistant
My name is Vinh Phan, and I am a junior standing student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with major studies in economics and minor studies in mathematics, statistics, and psychology. At the Methodology and Evaluation Research Core (MERC) Facility, I work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Some of the tasks that I assist with include data management and the research evaluation processes. Ideally, I want to gain experience for the opportunity to advance my education towards a graduate PhD program in economics, where I will focus on public policy, economics of education, and developmental economics.
Outside of MERC, I am involved in the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services as a student scholar, the Office of Admissions as a data entry clerk, and the Office of New Student Enrollment as a student support specialist. Besides that, I love to express my creativity through innovation, art, and writing in my free time.
